Update – with the application now live, we are urging people to take urgent action to lodge their opposition to the plant:
You can assist in several ways:
- Writing your own letters of objection – these should be in your own words and use some of the content from the aide memoire below
- Write to our local MP (who was not in attendance) and express your concern about both this scheme and the broader issue of little/no policy on solar plant locations
- Rally friends and local family to also do the above
- Support our funding efforts (you can do this HERE) – we still need to raise several thousand pounds to cover costs
The results of the four reports commissioned by Save Our Landscape are attached here, together with the Aide Memoire for making objections. As raised at the meeting, it’s important we focus on the main points of objection, keep our responses fact-based and get in as many individual responses as possible.
- Aide memoire – guidance for you
- Tree survey
- Transport survey
- Ecology survey
- Landscape survey
A REMINDER – we only have until the 8th of February to get these objections in!
Make your opinion heard: Write to our local MP, Ranil Jayawardena, with your views – details HERE
